Travel the world and explore its many and varied ecosystems. From the Arctic tundra to the African rainforests, diverse topography, ocean and atmospheric currents, and latitude support millions of different plants, animals, fungi, and other species. In this class, we will learn about these biological communities and their interactions with Earth systems.

Pre­requisites: Intro to Planet Earth and Meet the Biosphere, or equivalentEnergyPyramid comprehension of Earth systems and biology.

5-10 students, 9-12 years old 

Time: Wednesdays 1:30 -2:30 pm Pacific.

Class schedules also include a one-week semester break, scheduled at the discretion of the instructor.
